April, 2025: My husband and I got married at Lakeside Cottages in April and it was the wedding of our dreams! We loved the accessibility of all of the cottages on the property where our family and friends could stay close by. There is a hotel continently walking distance to the property so all my guests had the option to spend the night & not have to drive far. The lake was the most beautiful backdrop to our ceremony and reception and easily held all 100 guests. The staff was so helpful and accommodating to every request and helped plan the perfect location for everything. The property is beautifully maintained and the houses were updated & clean but still had the old Florida vibe. There were so many photo spots for formal pictures. Thank you Lakeside Cottages for such amazing hospitality and service.

No. All cottages are included in the wedding venue pricing.
- Can we bring our own food, alcohol and/or decorations?
Absolutely! You can DIY the ceremony as much as you like using local vendors to fill the gaps you may have.
- Do you require wedding (event) insurance?
Yes, we require event insurance. This protects both you and us for cancellations or damages due to covered reasons.
- Do we need to provide portable restrooms?
Yes, local vendors can assist. All accommodations have restrooms, but are for the exclusive use of guests staying there.
- Where is the tent typically set up?
Tents are usually placed on top of the regulation pickle-ball court, or in the open grassy area near the lake.
- Is electricity available near the tent area?
Yes, electricity access is available.
- What time must the reception end?
Friday and Saturday – 11 pm. Sunday through Thursday – 10 pm
- How many people can attend?
The wedding venue is ideal for 30 – 150 guests
- Is there sufficient parking?
Yes.
