Lakefront weddings in Lake Placid, Florida
Your wedding weekend by the lake.
Your ceremony, reception, and closest people together on one private Lake Clay property.

A wedding weekend that feels like you
More time together, with the lake as your backdrop.
Lakeside Cottages is not a ballroom or a formal resort. It is a peaceful place where your favorite people can stay close, celebrate outside, and enjoy the weekend without being rushed from one venue to the next.
You have the entire property, including all ten cottages, the lakefront, the dock, and the open spaces beneath the oak trees. There is time to arrive, settle in, celebrate, and wake up together the next morning.

Make the weekend your own
Bring your ideas. Choose the help you want.
Set a tent near the water, bring in a dance floor, choose your own food and drinks, and decorate in a way that feels personal. We do not lock you into a formal wedding package or a required vendor list.
If you want local help, we can connect you with people who already know the property. If you have your own team, they are welcome too.
Talk through your plans →“The lake was the most beautiful backdrop to our ceremony and reception. Our family and friends could stay close by, and the property still had that wonderful Old Florida feeling.”
